Self Invested Personal Pension

Take control of the investments you have set aside for retirement

A Self Invested Personal Pension (SIPP) is an HMRC approved personal pension plan, which in common with other types of pension wrappers affords individuals considerable tax benefits when saving for retirement. A SIPP provides additional benefits in that it allows savers a wider investment choice and total control over the investments made within the wrapper.

SIPPs have gained greater popularity over recent years, becoming a viable option for many savers.

For many individuals, a pension fund can be their largest single asset. Despite this, many are disengaged with their pension fund manager in relation to asset allocation, performance and charges.

We can provide professional investment management of your SIPP funds, under any of our main Investment Services. As a restricted adviser however we do not provide advice on pensions or pension transfers but we can refer you to a SIPP administrator and pension adviser, who will be able to confirm the suitability of a SIPP if you do not already have arrangements in place.

Whilst a SIPP is not for everyone, with other forms of pension plans available, it can be an effective way of taking responsibility and ownership for your retirement funds.
